Miami condo sales jumped ahead of Super Bowl LIV

Condo sales jumped in Miami-Dade County last week ahead of Super Bowl LIV.

A total of 135 condos sold for $56 million last week, compared to 82 units that sold for $34 million the previous week. Condos last week sold for an average price of about $415,000 or $300 per square foot.

The top sale was at the Four Seasons Residences at the Surf Club. Unit 417 in the north tower of the luxury Surfside development sold for $6.2 million, or about $1,811 per square foot. The two-bedroom, 3,424-square-foot condo traded after 722 days on the market.

The second most expensive sale was nearby in Bal Harbour. Penthouse 104 at Majestic Towers sold for $3.6 million, or $909 per square foot. It was on the market for 182 days before it closed.
